Creating A Mailing List In Excel

To create and send forms to customers … ?

What is the best program for that? I have OpenOffice and MS Office. Not sure the best option is Excel or Access. Some entries may be more complicated when the person may have more than one point held each question as: "The list of sources of income. "They could be a source or 10 depending on the client. I realized that you can create forms of access and base (OpenOffice), but was not sure if the client really needs access to the database or fill out the form, or, frankly, if it something that can be sent by email, please complete and return by mail. In all honesty, I am an Access database rookie /. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

You talk about a problem in the relational database. Need a software database to fix. OO Base and MS Access Packages are database and Excel is not. Databases are fairly easy to build, but the databases that do what they want Good results and are an art form dominated by a few. These two programs (Access Database and OO) are primarily intended for applications office. In other words, create a database application on a particular machine and all those between the data on this computer. Not only do customers need a copy of the package database, which need a copy of the data, it is difficult to move and subject to all sorts of problems (if three different people have their own copy of the data and any changes now?) is more likely that you may want to move to a model online where people can enter data on the web and is updated automatically. You will need knowledge of data design, HTML / XHTML, SQL, and programming like PHP or ASP.NET languge (sorry, this is really not a simple problem.) If you start with one of these tools, use OO Base Engine with MySQL because MySQL is very easy to convert an online form (which will probably need a day.) MS Access can be used on the Web but has some weaknesses well documented, and MySQL free. You have done well to identify a problem with the number of sources of income. This is a classic problem in the design data and the solution is to use a technique of data normalization. (In fact, it uses three different tables – one for the client to follow, one for monitoring sources of income, and the third to continue the relationship.) It is very difficult, but requires some study of master. What I mean carefully you're probably on the head. Your options are: 1) Learn to do these things. This is an excellent option because you do not depend on anyone. But programming rules and data are not trivial skills, and can cause months to learn and a lifetime to master.
