Creditreport.com has my Social Security number. Is this something I should worry?
Recently, I was fooled by an inscription on Craigslist.org and obviously do not see some signs of a scam online. I went to cover all the details Creditreport.com site which included my social security number. I canceled my credit and called for a new account and card. Now my question is – what to do about my Social Security number? If I fill out the form to get my credit report for free on this site I am automatically a member of the site and I pay you I know that many questions, but I am worried. I was so focused craigslist First, research all the little details before replying to e-mail as such, but the paranoia has gone a bit and I'm very relaxed with Craigslist. Beware every time peeps!
McAfee site advisor says it is a McAfee Secure Site (where you check mail, etc. per day). Therefore legitimate. I'm sure you can cancel the account, but you must pay for anything beyond the free trial for 30 days. People said that called to cancel and I recommend you do. You can get a free credit report www.annualcreditreport.com (or the registration on the Federal Trade click here Commission www.ftc.gov). Many people have a report every four months if they want to ensure that things go well, instead of three at a time. I guess you say www.creditreport.com. Your Social Security number is as safe as it is everywhere, as your bank, which keeps records online. I read the signs warning every time I go to craigslist. You do not buy anything for her yet, but there are crooks.
