How can I mail baked goods?
I have a friend who lives in Texas (I'm in Florida), and I want to send a box baked goods for Christmas. The list includes: Banana Bread Cranberry Orange Bread Chocolate Fudge and four different types of apple pie, chocolate and send Emergency-mail without having to go wrong? Do I send all night?
Priority would be nice. His list, you have nothing that could spoil or lose their freshness or quality within 48-72 hours, as long as things wrap / package carefully. The temperature does not cause pain. No air. Keep this in mind. And chocolate fudge can be packed in a metal box, like a coffee or metal layers of paper waxed. Do not stack too high, the regulation could squash some things on the bottom. Breads and cakes should not be stacked, and must be wrapped as closely as possible. I'm sure if you take these precautions, you'll be fine with Mail, as I have done and seen done countless time. Happy Holidays!
