Mailing List Dreamweaver
creating forms in Dreamweaver?
How do i create a web form in dreamweaver? I’ve created all my pages in Photoshop, and then put them together in dreameaver. If i wanted to put lets say a “join our mailing list” field imbeded on one of the pages how do i go about doing that? if i were to drop something into the page in dreamweaver, won’t it sepereate the sliced page somewhat?
Well, basing a website off of all images is probably not the best way to go. But anyway, if you’re interested in ‘how’ to put forms in your page in dreamweaver, then it is simple. First, go to design mode, go to the “Forms” tab at the top of the screen under objects that you can put in. Press the first object, which is just called ‘Form’. It will make a red dashed box on your page, which is where your form will be. Put in a text field and a button, and that should work for a mailing list. The only other thing you have to do is figure out how your website is going to do a mailing list. Usually it involves using server-side code.
