Internet / personal case of wrong – please help!?
Someone responded to an announcement list was Craig to solicit sex and asked me to give my name and phone number. This person obviously knows me because not only my number, but were able to give a complete physical description myself in their e-mails. He responded to its good send me e-mails that have been sent in both directions between the last two weeks in detail what would happen to arrive together. I contacted Yahoo (since the person being pass for me it was in an e-mail Yahoo) and not very useful. Do I need is a case locally (I live in New Jersey, if that matter ..)? What should I bring? Please help!
Definitely go to the authorities. Often, they can take back by email to find the author (s). I think this comes under the laws governing identity stolen.
