Mailing Lists On Gmail
How can i stop auto contact addition in gmail? i send mail to anyone & same gets added to my chat list. help?
Whenever i send mail to anyone using GMAIL that email address gets automatically added to my contact list and shows up in the chat window on LEFT SIDE. Kindly tell me how can i stop it ? I am having so many unwanted addresses in that list.
I have already done this:
Login to Gmail
Click on settings (Right top just beside your email address)
Click ‘Chat’ tab
Auto-add suggested contacts:
Select the second option – Only allow people that I’ve explicitly approved to chat with me and see when I’m online
But still contacts get added to my contacts list and to the chat list too. Any new suggestions.
You guys can try it in our mail too and see if you can find a solution for the same.
