My yahoo e-mail ID has been hacked. I created a new Yahoo ID, but how can I stop the hacker to use the e-mail?

My e-mail which has been hacked was The leading question was: “What’s your pet’s name?” And the answer was: “Who knows?” It was hacked yesterday and the hacker has used all my addresses already to get money. Can that be blocked and can I get my address list back? Thank you very much.
