Where can I obtain a mailing list for invitations to open the gallery?
I am a photographer with a couple of years Rear work. I sold maybe 5 pictures without "trying." I have a friend who offered her beautiful town house (with garden) for use as a "Gallery" to a photo exhibition. The location is perfect. Now, I need people to come forward. How do I obtain a mailing list pre-printed (or downloaded) I could use it to send postcards / invitations (perhaps 500-1000) who are lovers art, anyway, the museum and gallery of art lovers, buyers, photography, photographers and other artists who live within 10 km the place? (Washington DC), so I'm sure there are at least as much. Besides, I think that when people walk I could give you a raffle ticket and the winner will receive a picture (the choice of the photo and the frame). Seems like it or not tacky? I think maybe get 1-10 or 20 people who received the invitation to occur. Is that correct?
This is spam or junk mail. This discourages people from you! Yuck! Another person said, involved in local clubs camera. Place an ad in the newspaper. Things get a notice by mail, the money goes to the local community with coupons. Perhaps an insertion in the document. Learn new to report.
