Would you give your business plan to 18 investors you don't know?
local community group has program with 18 members volunteering their time, that will review my business plan and if interested invite me to present it. If they accept, I get a 1 year loan that I do not have to pay back for at least 1 year.
Problem is the nature of my idea is very niche oriented and is relies heavily on strategic marketing / branding / pr initiatives – with no patents just a trademark.
I’ve asked for non-disclosures or a list of names / descriptions – program organizer is unwilling to do it as she says
" these ppl volunteer their time , they do not want their names published.. these are successful / respectful ppl "
My only concern is – how do i know they’re not my direct competition, or if there is 1 bad apple..
what do you guys think?
